So like. I really suck at this whole blogging thing. But I made sure to actually put it in my planner every other day which is something I actually do follow. I think if I see it as a "task" (even though it's not going to be considered one!) it'll help me stay on track.
But that's life right now huh? COVID has made so many things completely out of whack. Intentions that we have made or goals we had for ourselves in 2020...not happening for some. Vacations and trips planned? Cancelled or postponed. Kids are either at school, virtual or a hybrid of both which seems to change weekly. Fires have been absolutely crazy on the West Coast. This election year is the worst I think I have ever experienced in my entire adult life.
It's. Been. Weird.
But at the same time I am truly cherishing this slowed down life right now. The time I am having with my kids is a time I am loving. We have done a lot of local traveling (camping and social distancing!) and I started hiking. October is going to be really busy for us but that's okay. Hopefully it helps the time go by quicker!
A lot of people tend to focus on the negative with this but I want to hear some positives. What is something positive that you have about this crazy year?
